Family with Young Children
From the outside, it looks very old looking but the inside is very nice inside. The rooms were adequate & the beds were comfortable.

We have stayed here before. The staff is always very accommodating, however, I would rather pay full price for the sister hotel next door and have breakfast included. Plus, laundry is free next door and $1 per load @ this hotel. ...read more

Family with Young Children
I was traveling with my husband and infant to the area for a wedding. The desk staff was adequate at best. At checkin, the man at front desk kept getting distracted from my checkin to pick up the phone and carry on full conversations, so it took much longer than it should. We were also never given a "welcome package" which I only noticed as I was checking out (it was displayed at the front desk). Also, on the second night, many, many teenaged soccer players checked in with parents and coaches; and our room was surrounded by them. They ran up and down the halls screaming and knocked on our door several times trying to find their friends. They woke the baby from her sleep, so we called the front desk. The female there was sympathetic but said "they're just excited right now; they'll calm down soon." It went on til 1am. Then the kids started slamming their doors at 7 am again waking the baby. My husband and I were zombies on our 7 hour drive home that day. When we complained at the front desk during checkout, all the woman said was "we're sorry about that." Otherwise, the Holiday Inn was ok, a bit small but standard for a moderate hotel. The only thing I am really glad about is that we did not have to pay full price or I would have been really upset that the staff did not try harder to fix things. ...read more

This hotel was new with a attractive lobby, access to the pool area was convenient. Rooms were spacious.
